Black Tie Collection – A New Eccentric Experience
Black Tie Collection was born out of a passion to bring together the best products for a sophisticated lifestyle – a curated world with its own high and unique standards. For over ten years, the founding team behind Black Tie, supported by the expertise of friends and companions, has put together spirits, clothing, tobacco products and porcelain for a group of over 400 fans and originally only produced for Friends & Family.

THERE IS A MEN’S WORLD
The success and steadily growing demand were then the decisive motivator to continuously expand the collection and now make it accessible to a wide audience. However, the basic idea has remained the same: Every partner, every product in the collection has a personal connection to the founders. From friends – for friends.

The DNA of the Black Tie Collection has continuously developed through the Black Tie Society since the mid-90s through the network of friends of enjoyment, quality, the identity of products and the joy of life of like-minded people. The Black Tie Society can look back on many companions in terms of its roots and inspiration. The red guide of encounters and unique experiences has given many special moments that Black tie group all carry in their hearts.

Full of enthusiasm, the many ideas and networks gave rise to the “Havanna Lounge Club” network in the mid-90s, which was set up with many friends in Hamburg, Berlin, Bremen, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Zurich, Vienna and on Sylt.
At its peak, the network had around 7,000 members. However, the core focus was the curiosity to get to know other people and worlds of pleasure.
A club within a club quickly developed, meeting regularly in various cities for a “Jour Fix” in a tuxedo.
A legendary network of friends of around 450 friends has been established over the years and forms the trusted basis for all Black Tie partners and friends.

The Black Tie events and trips together are among the highlights of the year for everyone of them; almost all of the gentlemen in the many guest lectures have arrived in Black Tie society.
All of today’s products in the Black Tie Collection were created by the Black Tie company or were further developed based on products from companies owned by the Black Tie shareholders. They promise to continue to keep an eye out for new products for the Black Tie Collection in the future. The best example is Black Tie friend Jörg Woltmann, who, as the owner of the Royal Porcelain Manufactory from 1763, needed some time with his art historians to switch from “white gold” to “black porcelain”, the birth of gentleman porcelain. Also in In the future there will be new partners with whom Black tie will explore new, unknown paths.

Formal attire
The Black tie is a semi formal Western dress code for evening events, originating in British and North American conventions for attire in the19th century. In British English, the dress code is often referred to synecdochically by its principal element for men, the dinner suit or dinner jacket Black tie as the relevance of a Gentleman’s clothing on social occasions in the Anglo-American.

Bitter notes of nuts, fine cocoa and roasted coffee combine with the sweetness of honey, caramel and balsamic vinegar.

In an elaborate distillation process, 40-year-old rum from the Caribbean and the 2011 were fused. The Black Tie Grappa combines a slightly sweet taste with a pleasant tobacco note and tastes like evenings with good friends and inspiring conversations. Black Tie Tea No.1
Black Tea Lapsang
As a young officer, Sir Winston Churchill discovered his love for smoked tea and large-
format cigars in Havana during the Cuban War of Independence in 1885. In the years that
followed, he refined the tea recipe until he had found his personal blend. Black Tie and
Skeisan have now followed in Churchill’s footsteps and found the best smoked tea in the
province of Fujian on the south-east coast of China.

There, the black tea leaves are roasted according to ancient tradition in bamboo baskets over pine wood until they acquire their pleasantly smoky aroma. Black Tie Tea No.1 is the perfect accompaniment to a good cigar, but is also a revelation on its own or with some exquisite chocolate. Some aficionados even find the taste experience is reminiscent of a good whiskey that has aged over years.
With Black Tie Tea No.1, Black Tie Collection has set a new benchmark for smoked teas in
cooperation with the Düsseldorf tea brand Skeisan. The extensive search for the right tea
leaves and the best processing have paid off – the result is a blend that exceeds all
expectations
