We’re proud to announce a brand-new weekly column that will change the way you think about life, women, and power. Starting today, this publication will host a weekly column by “the most controversial Italian author”, as we ourselves once called him—Pier Francesco Grasselli.
Styled – like the book it stems from – in that same colorful, no-filter tone that made his work well-known, the column—The New Playboy’s Handbook—is aimed especially at a male audience.
These bold, provocative extracts are designed to help you live to the fullest, master the art of seduction, and play the game like a king. Buckle up: this is not your average love advice column. This is your weekly dose of unapologetic alpha wisdom.
Can’t wait to read it all? Don’t worry. At the end of each piece, you’ll find the link to grab the full edition.
The New Playboy’S Handbook / Intro by Pier Francesco Grasselli

🤝 Let’s Make Introductions
Please allow me to introduce myself—I’m a man of books, taste, and very little shame.
Not the devil, just his ghostwriter. Shake my hand, bro.
Here’s my business card: Pier Francesco Grasselli, author of The Male Chauvinist. An Erotic Autobiography, Last Cuba Libre, and Alpha Male: The Return of the Playboy — novel that already featured seduction tactics and straight-up locker-room wisdom.
This time, I didn’t just throw in a few juicy extras. This time, I wrote the whole damn manual. The Gospel. The Playboy’s Bible — the kind of Sacred Scripture that will make the MeToo sisterhood pray for the apocalypse. A New Testament of Seduction that will raise the hair on the arms of feminist freaks (yes, they’ve got it — I checked), loaded with enough testosterone to make the cancel culture Taliban foam at the mouth like rabid poodles.
Women have always been front and center in my life… and in my books. And not just as muses or motivational fuel. Also as a rich, never-ending source of headaches, internal chaos, and sexual addiction. They are undoubtedly my favorite kind of high.
I’ve published about thirty books—enough to build a tower and stand on it while looking down at that pathetic line of beta males with the spine of a wet sock. You know, the ones society wants you to become.
This book isn’t just a seduction manual. It’s a motivational nuke disguised as a how-to guide. A ruthless survival kit, a lifestyle manifesto built to wake up the playboy inside you, the alpha male that’s still in there, buried under layers of guilt, manners, and politically correct garbage. If you’re tired of being nice, confused, or invisible —the kind of man who only gets laid when the planets align —welcome home.
Get ready. This book will change your sex life. Maybe even your love life. Whether you want to bang the bombshell behind the café counter or win over the woman of your dreams, this book is the road map that gets you straight to the goal — her heart… or her panties.
If you want to understand what turns a woman on, how to attract her, keep her hooked, or dismiss her gently — this is the book for you. The book every man should keep on his nightstand — and every woman should be afraid of.
The New Playboy’s Handbook slaps you with the unfiltered truth. It throws away your training wheels, and puts your ass back into the saddle of your own damn life. It shows you how the game really works — no filters, no fluff, no mercy. And most importantly? It gives you the tools to get real results.
If you’re looking for Boy Scout advice or canned pickup lines, you’re in the wrong place, buddy. In here, you’ll find brutal truths, punched straight into your teeth, no filters attached.
Because real seduction — the kind that actually works — isn’t for the faint of heart. Or the faint of balls. If your ego easily bruises, turn back now. This ride’s for the ones with guts — and steel between their legs.
🏆 A way to win the woman of your dreams
If you’re reading this column, chances are you’re not some daydreamer in search of eternal love. No, you want to master the art, the craft, and—why not?—the science of modern seduction. Because seduction is a refined technique that demands study, skill… and boldness.
That said, this isn’t a book for those aspiring to be cold-hearted playboys, superficial collectors of flings who live for the sake of notches on their belts—or should I say, on their bedposts. It’s not just for thrill-seekers or for those looking for easy strategies to impress the fair sex. This book will help you win the woman of your dreams, if that’s what you’re truly after. Because a true seducer’s greatest tools are heart and sensitivity, and a deep, authentic connection is the foundation of any real conquest.
How many men meet the woman of their dreams only to lose her due to inexperience, missteps, or the inability to read her signals? This handbook will help you seize that once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. After all, being a true playboy also means being capable of winning over the woman you genuinely want. But beware—winning the woman of your dreams is no easy task, and as you’ll discover in the last chapters, it can also carry risks.
🍸📱 The Playboy of the 21st Century
Women are not trophies. They are universes waiting to be explored, intricate galaxies of emotion, desire and mystery, complex souls worthy of respect and dedication. True seduction isn’t a game of trickery or a list of canned lines delivered with a cheeky smile. You have to be willing to truly connect with your partner. Because, contrary to what cheap seducers believe, winning over a woman—whether she’s the woman of your dreams or not—requires depth, intelligence… and patience. Oh, how patience is underestimated! Too often, men rush in, expecting everything to happen immediately. But love isn’t a race—it’s a dance. You need rhythm, chemistry, and perfect timing.
In this game, your greatest weapon is your heart. Not your looks, not your money, not your witty comebacks, but your empathy—the ability to understand what makes the woman you desire truly unique, to appreciate that uniqueness, and to make her feel not just wanted but understood and respected.
This requires depth. However, don’t confuse depth with sentimentality. This isn’t about acting like a tortured poet or burdening her with existential speeches. The 21st-century playboy is neither a heartless seducer like Don Giovanni nor a hopeless romantic like Jay Gatsby or Werther.
And then, there’s sensitivity—that rare quality many men have lost. Sensitivity is not weakness; it’s strength. True seductive power doesn’t come from masking emotions with macho posturing but from embracing and sharing them with shrewdness.

Forget the stereotypical image of the fairy-tale Latin lover. The playboy isn’t just about having an impeccable wardrobe or a few clever lines. The modern playboy is a master of balance, knowing when to speak and when to remain silent, when to take the spotlight and when to vanish like a shadow. He exudes charm, charisma, and—equally important—an unwavering respect for the object of his desire. For him, seduction isn’t just about securing nights of passion; it’s about creating unforgettable moments and leaving a lasting impression long after dawn breaks.
📘 The New Playboy Handbook
This work is the direct heir to a legendary book: Renzo Barbieri’s Manuale del Playboy, published in 1980. Barbieri outlined guidelines that became a reference point for generations of men eager to master the art of seduction. This handbook picks up the torch and updates it for modern times, adapting it to a world where the rules of the game have changed, but charm and intelligence remain the winning cards.
The manual in your hands is a practical, straightforward guide based not just on theories but on real experiences, lessons learned in the field, and legendary stories of playboys past and present. We’ll dive into the teachings of the most accomplished Pick-Up Artists—people who have dedicated their lives to decoding the dynamics of seduction, refining strategies that can mean the difference between triumphant success and humiliating disaster.
We will analyze the most common mistakes—those every playboy makes at least once in his life—and how to avoid them. Times have changed, but discretion, elegance, self-confidence, and the ability to read a situation intuitively remain timeless qualities.
However, today we face new challenges. From social media, which has revolutionized how we present ourselves—amplifying both our strengths and, unfortunately, our failures—to gender dynamics and the necessity of maintaining impeccable ethics in the game of seduction. The risk of being accused of harassment or stalking has never been higher.
The New Playboy’s Handbook will help you navigate these choppy waters by blending traditional wisdom with innovative methods. This book is dedicated to those who aspire to be not just conquerors of women’s hearts but true gentlemen. Each chapter is designed to help you grow and become the best version of yourself.
We will explore every aspect the modern playboy must master: from dress codes to techniques for interacting with specific types of women. I’ll teach you how to avoid clichés, how to create attraction without taking advantage of the woman standing before you.
Remember, a true playboy is not a manipulator or an opportunist. He is a man who knows what he wants and how to get it, living with respect for both others and himself. He is a captivating figure, not because he follows a script but because he embodies authenticity and style.
As my friend Maurizio Raggio says: “In the end, it’s always the women who choose.” Our task is to increase our personal value so that we are the ones chosen.
I’ll include anecdotes and personal experiences, especially failures. I believe they’re more instructive than victories because it’s from stumbles and hard-earned lessons that true wisdom is gained. After all, the essence of growth lies in turning moments of crisis into opportunities for evolution and self-improvement.
Know this: even though, over time, I’ve managed to reach certain heights when it comes to women, in the beginning I made every mistake in the book. And when I say every mistake, I really mean every single one. I did all the dumb shit a guy can possibly do. Like that time I was out with a stunning girl — who was clearly interested, since she’d agreed to go out with me — and I kissed her right in the middle of a burger joint dinner. Yep, right then and there, with bits of meat still stuck between our teeth and fries halfway down our throats. And even though, for some inexplicable reason, she went along with it in the moment, right after dinner she jumped on her motorbike and vanished into the Roman night without so much as a real goodbye. Gone forever.
In short, I was a total disaster. But each one of those screw-ups taught me something — until even I, stubborn and slow as I am, eventually figured out how to get… let’s say, good with women.
These days I’ve calmed down — or at least I’ve become more selective — but up until a few years ago, I was raising absolute hell.
During my first few years in Rome, from about 27 to 32, thanks to the success of my early novels (which had made me fairly well-known), I was going out with so many women that I had to create a database on my computer. For each one, I noted how we’d met and what I knew about her… just to avoid embarrassing slip-ups, you get me?
After all, chasing girls in Rome after cutting my teeth in Reggio Emilia was like switching a video game from Hard Mode to Easy. I was practically a superhero.
Even after my breakup with Delia — the woman I wrote about in the novel She — I entered a full-blown phase of hormonal rebirth.
In Portofino, according to some, I’d practically become a local tourist attraction… obviously for women only, whether foreign or Italian. I came this close to pulling off Barney Stinson’s legendary “perfect week”: seven nights, seven different women. I only missed Monday — ran out of freshly ironed shirts!
I told the story of that wild, hedonistic period in Alpha Male: The Return of the Playboy.
But don’t get me wrong — this isn’t about bragging. I’m not infallible.
Yes, I had my fun. But I also got slammed, ghosted, and rejected more times than I care to count. I made some truly epic mistakes. And if it’s true that I often scored, it’s just as true that I just as often struck out. No shame in admitting it. That’s part of the game.
One way or another, women have always been central to my life — both in everyday experience and in my writing. That’s why today, I feel in the right position to offer a few honest insights to the reader who wants to know where I stand on the eternal topic: “Women. And How to Seduce Them.”
I also have the advantage of having known, in real life, a whole cast of genuine playboys — starting with Mathias, the young lady-killer I wrote about in my Search of Oneself, and moving on to the great Maurizio Raggio, all the way to a long line of lesser-known but richly experienced womanizers who shared with me their most valuable lessons.

Now it’s your turn to jump into the game.
The New Playboy’s Handbook is your toolbox—a guide to building your success step by step.
So get ready. Look at yourself in the mirror with the awareness that today things are going to change.
See you next week for the first installment, titled “No Woman Is Unattainable”. Cheers!
