The exclusive appointment of the winter season combining automotive, luxury, lifestyle and culture is just around the corner
The I.C.E. St Moritz’s 2025 edition is coming alive. Indeed, the next February 21st and 22nd the extraordinary classic cars which attend the concours will be ready to welcome an international audience of passionate collectors and four-wheel enthusiasts in the evocative setting of the most famous Engadin frozen lake. A weekend dedicated to style, love for beauty and elegance, that celebrates unique cars as original artworks, offering different opportunities for cultural enrichment.

Admired by the audience for their beauty and historical significance, cars are the actual main characters of the static exhibition on the frozen lake on Friday, February 21st: the first day of the concours, which also hosts some dynamic sessions dedicated to modern vehicles, where Pagani and Maserati’s exclusive models will be unveiled. After a meticulous evaluation of the jury, the Best in Class award ceremony, honouring the best car in each of the five categories, takes place on Friday afternoon.

Saturday, February 22nd features the much-awaited free laps on the lake instead, to the delight of the enthusiastic audience. The collectors who attend the concours will live an unparalleled experience at the wheel of their roaring vintage jewels on the snow-covered track surrounded by an exceptional background, always under the careful gaze of the international jury.
In the afternoon, after the end of the activities, the prestigious Best in Show prize is assigned. The winner receives an exclusive trophy, expressly designed for The I.C.E. by renowned architect Lord Norman Foster.
The partners who are involved in this edition, in line with the spirit of the event, come not only from the automotive world but also from other fields, sharing the same passion for excellence, innovation and sophisticated aesthetic, starting with our Title Sponsor Richard Mille, who partner with us for the third consecutive year and the support given by St. Moritz Tourismus AG, together with the legendary Badrutt’s Palace Hotel.

VistaJet, Official Aviation Partner since the last edition, Loro Piana, UBS and Vincenzo Dascanio, make their return, along with Bang&Olufsen as Exhibitor, Blasto and Blunotte Eventi as Technical Sponsors and, among the new entries, Les Crêtes and Campari Group.
From the automotive field, prestigious brands of the standing of Maserati and Pagani Automobili renew their attendance. Last but not least, RM Sotheby’s auction house, consolidated Partner of the event.

As already announced, this year’s edition will see an expanded event, involving the whole city, with a program filled with cross-sectoral and artistic activities aiming to celebrate creativity and cultural enrichment.

Before the official opening of the event, you’ll start to feel its atmosphere with the Classic Driver Talks at The I.C.E. St. Moritz 2025, scheduled in the afternoon of Thursday, February 20th on the stage in town. Among the existing connections, the sinergy with Nomad continues.

History
The I.C.E. was first conceived in the mid-1980s, but its origin is rooted in the timeless symbiosis between St. Moritz and the winter magic of its frozen lake. Nature, exclusivity, sport, luxury, fun and excitement: all the most typical elements of the atmosphere of the famous Swiss town found embodiment, over a century ago, in one of the most iconic events on the St. Moritz calendar, the Cresta Run skeleton race.

The winter of 2019 was the testing ground for a demonstration edition of The I.C.E. St. Moritz. The formula already contained, in an abbreviated version, the features that would characterise the subsequent editions.

After two years of waiting due to Covid, the first official edition finally took place in February 2022. The success in terms of turnout, media resonance and participant satisfaction was the best proof that even ice can burn if it is warmed by genuine passion. And that is what will continue to happen from now on, year after year.

Elegance, beauty and charm «on top of the world»
The I.C.E. St. Moritz is a cultural and lifestyle automotive event, held in a truly unconventional venue.

St. Moritz has always been a place where different cultures and passions merge in a common concept of timeless, laid-back refinement. Every year, when the lake freezes over and turns into a white canvas for limitless imagination, cars become a new reason to get together and enjoy this alternative winter season experience.
For one weekend, the famous Engadine resort is transformed into an open-air playground to the delight of collectors, car lovers, design and lifestyle enthusiasts.
A unique mix of static displays and dynamic activities, with classic cars being showcased and driven on the frozen surface and with the unique vibes of a glamourous yet “down-to-ice” Concours d’Elegance

The warm notes of the piano bar chase each other through the crisp air and accompany the drinks, served outside among the sun loungers. In the occasional small swirls of snow powder, carried gently by the alpine breeze, gentlemen-drivers and audience participants exchange experiences, ideas and opinions on the many topics that unite and inspire them.

The die-hard car enthusiasts and industry professionals mingle with characters sporting a sophisticated and charismatic look, wearing ushankas, mirrored glasses and prestigious vintage accessories.
A few extravagant details in the outfits colour the event with glamour, making it an exclusive and at the same time inclusive party, involving corporate figures, jet setters and high society as well as members of the public, groups of friends and families with children.
In a mutual exchange that stimulates and enriches, acquaintances and friendships are formed between people who until a few hours before were perfect strangers.
The harmony of interests and emotions and the fact that they enjoy themselves together in such a lively and unusual atmosphere brings them together despite their different backgrounds, in the name of that combination of luxury and sport typical of the lifestyle that is now called ‘icestyle’ in St. Moritz
A beacon of light for mechanical and design masterpieces
A work of art is a meeting point. It is a place where intuition and emotion converge, where aesthetics and meaning come together to give form and substance to something greater than the sum of its parts.

The I.C.E. St. Moritz is a unique opportunity to embrace an inimitable and perhaps unrepeatable exhibition of automotive works of art at a glance. An exhibition of exceptionally valuable pieces, set on a stage as dynamic as it is ephemeral, accessible for two days only, waiting for the wheel of the seasons to dissolve the ice like a dream in its sunlight.

Design and engineering are the tools of excellence that have sculpted these masterpieces of mechanical and design art over the decades, symbols of efficiency, lifestyle, performance and freedom. Each of these cars is a milestone along man’s path through the 20th century; each one encapsulates and expresses the imprint of an individual and inimitable genius. To see one of them is a rare occasion. To see them brought together is a unique privilege.

The cars on display are true automotive masterpieces and blend perfectly with the artistic atmosphere of St. Moritz.
As the cradle of winter tourism, St. Moritz has demonstrated its pioneering spirit through the ages. The alpine town is a stage for artists and trendsetters and home to an impressive number of international galleries. St. Moritz boasts Europe’s highest luxury shopping street – a paradise for shoppers and in a class of its own. And there is no shortage of culture to enjoy as St. Moritz has numerous museums, libraries and places of interest to visit.
