A Vision of Travel, Shaped by Art Deco
Maison Philippe Montagne was born from a simple belief: travel deserves objects as thoughtful and enduring as architecture itself. Inspired by Art Deco—where form followed function with elegance—the Maison reinterprets a century-old philosophy through contemporary travel pieces. Clean geometry, noble materials, and artisanal precision define creations designed not to impress instantly, but to last.

Founded by Philippe Montagne, a Paris-born creator shaped by an international career, the brand reflects a life lived in motion. Educated across Europe and experienced in global business and culture, he conceived Maison Philippe Montagne as a home for modern luxury nomads.

Crafted in French and Italian workshops, each piece combines full-grain leather with stainless steel or titanium. These contrasts form a portable architecture—objects that evolve, gain patina, and tell stories over time.

Maison Philippe Montagne does not follow trends. It builds identity.
Here, travel is culture. Luxury is discipline. Elegance is permanence. MPM creations are conceived as objects of travel rather than accessories. Leather meets metal, craftsmanship meets engineering, and every detail serves both form and function.

The 96HRS suitcase exemplifies this philosophy with its sculptural alloy construction, ergonomic leather grips, and bold architectural presence—designed for short, intense journeys.

The Doppio backpack extends this language into everyday travel. With its structured silhouette, refined leather, and intelligent organization, it offers a discreet yet assertive expression of modern luxury.

Selective by nature, MPM addresses The Luxury Nomad—those who recognize luxury not by logos, but by design intelligence and meaning. This bag is not for everyone. It’s for You if you are a flaneur.
Parisian beginnings
Philippe Montagne, the visionary behind Maison Philippe Montagne (MPM), brings a lifetime of elegance, travel, and passion to his avant-garde luxury bags.
Born in Paris, his early years were shaped by strolls through Parc Monceau and indulgent stops for chouquettes, those delicate pastries that sparked a lifelong appreciation for refined craftsmanship.
Raised as an expatriate, Philippe’s childhood was a tapestry of beauty, culture, and discovery, with detours through the world’s most picturesque streets fueling his aesthetic sensibilities.

Global ventures
His journey took him from studies in Strasbourg, Paris, Marseilles, and Bruges to a career that blended his love for travel and sophistication. Initially drawn to diplomacy, Philippe instead carved a path in international business, eventually founding a bespoke luxury travel agency on the French Riviera.

This venture, marked by exclusive visits to luthiers, wineries, and Michelin-starred restaurants, reflected his flair for curating unforgettable experiences. Later, his time in the dynamic world of BMX, skateboarding, and snowboarding industries infused

Philippe Reimagined Luxury Travel
I met the designer personally and appreciated his vision of luxury travel reinterpreted with class, taste, and a sense of practicality. Philippe is an elegant man with a connoisseurship of beauty, an Asian flaneur, who lives in Paris and knows the rules of good living.

He loves good food, and champagne is over of the female world, which makes him, in my opinion, close to my way of thinking about good life.
But he is also a highly capable professional and an interpreter and interlocutor of his time with creativity and sagacity.
His luxury travel product is gorgeous and generous in form and substance, and I imagine it could accompany the travels of classy gentlemen and gentlewomen not only as a container for private objects and accessories, but as a faithful companion and witness of the moments that belong to the journey itself.
