The presentation celebrated the brand’s heritage with shoemaking demonstrations from one of Church’s most cherished artisans, Mark Segnitz. Mark shares a lifetime of know-how with the guests, in the Sala Lettura of the historical Biblioteca Braidense. The building features architectural elements that date back to the 17th century – the perfect location for a showcase of Church’s time-honoured techniques.

The walnut bookshelves and sparkling domed chandeliers of the library’s Sala Maria Teresa hall set the scene for this event. Guests enjoyed a decadent private event surrounded by literature and centuries-old architecture, with impressive finishes to match Church’s fine footwear.

A first look at Church’s Autumn Winter 2025 Collection
At Milan Fashion Week, Church’s unveiled its Autumn Winter 2025 collection amidst the ancient volumes of prestigious Biblioteca Nazionale Braidense, in the artistic neighbourhood of Brera. Transcending centuries of history and craftsmanship, the event provided a cultural journey pursuing true Britishness through the lens of art and heritage.

British heritage in craftsmanship and literature
Exploring the deep-rooted connections between English artisanal tradition and literary heritage, Church’s iconic designs posed alongside new men’s and women’s styles among the rare books housed in the Sala di Lettura (the Reading Room) beneath its exquisite frescoed ceiling.

Concluding the evening, guests gathered for a private dinner in the Sala Maria Teresa, a grand hall adorned with walnut bookcases and Bohemian crystal chandeliers—an exquisite reflection of 18th-century sophistication.
